Blue Whale.

In an essay I received from a friend, I learned “whales have a long life span with empty hearts filled with loneliness”. Imagine, a large blue whale in a large blue ocean all blue and alone. I’m telling you to imagine something I can’t. I can’t imagine such a large creature surrounded by underwater silence. I just can’t.
Now with all that love and no lovin’, I feel sorry for the blue whale. I don’t think the loneliness I’ve felt can match up with his loneliness. That’s one more reason to be thankful and fortunate, I guess. And so on.
