1. Sunset Boulevard was…an interesting watch. A writer falls into an economic slum and goes down to the last straw to hide under the wing of a star-crazed-hasbeen-actress. Gloria Swanson was such a character…her facial expressions and the way she moved her hands were so over the top that it was good. Script was pretty great, acting was fantastic, and overall, a great film noir watch.

  2. Double Indemnity was…personally, an okay film noir. Neff, an insurance salesman, comes across a particular customer that wants her husband dead..The film was great, from the script to the acting, but I felt it was too predictable. The shocks and the twists weren’t as great as I thought they’d be. For one of the grittier film noir movies, it’s still worth a watch.
p.s. the baby talk got on my nerves and stanwyck’s hairdo was stiff..lol

  3. Mildred Pierce was…absolutely riveting. There were so many twists and turns that lured me into a single BANG! Mildred Pierce, a working class woman that only wants to make her daughter Veda happy by getting her the things she’s never had in her life twists an objective into something horrid. The script, the acting, and the sets were all done beautifully well. There was never a dull movement and the story moved at a very nice pace. Recommended for people interested in film noir movies. :)
